Pappa is down in the Village with some of the men and charis and Marco. Mario is at school but we dident have to go back, I am happy that we are at Home. Dory misses school though.

Jenny and Lucius dont like each other any more. too bad for jenny because Lucius is Il Principe and when La Donna isnt here and the other prince is away then we all have to follow him.

I wish there were more girls our age here, everyone is closer to Marianas age or really littler than us, like Bastianas babies. Aelia is very Bossy nowadays and all jenny does is Argue with her, it is so tiersome. i miss Fia but we dont see very much of her any more now she has rich friends like her. also i miss Hamish.

Tadzio realy likes Dory but he has gone back to school. but Dory isnt interested in getting married. Mamma says maybe tomorrow they will start having Dory bring La Donna her morning tea. La Donna wanted Dory to bring her some tea every morning. And to sit in her office and listen. I feel sorry because i think it will be very very BORING. but dory is interested in Politics. so mabey it will be ok for her.

jenny wanted to know if she would have to do that, why can she not understand that she is not like us? but i don't think Jenny would want to go anyway. Jenny doesent want to grow up. I told her she can't have a man or babies if she doesent get older but she doesent care about that either. i so dont understand that girl. at least aelia and the horses makes sense.

anyhow I hope that Pappa will be home safe soon. and dory and me, we can play with Emiliana now that the chores are done. i told Dory that Emiliana can be her doll too since she doesent have her old ones any more.

So we are Home. and dory and i are sisters now. there was a big Dinner and even though we dident sit up where lucius sits we sat together with Pappa and Mamma and i have not seen pappa since he went away to War.

and then we went back to the Company quarters. and they gave a dove to our household gods for Dory instead of a Chicken like i thought because we cant spare Chickens on account of the War. i guess the Gods know there is a war on. signor nicodemo said some fancy words because he is the pontifex now (the new don ercole, but Mamma says if i say that she will Wash My Mouth With Soap and throw Salt over her sholders). then it was done and dory and I are Sisters for real.

Mario had to go to a stupid party thats just for boys. Mamma says I will Understand when I am older but that just means there are Naked Ladies around. which is not very exciting since they are eather girls the Company brought back from italy or girls that everybody knows already but I suppose it's probably fun to dance naked and have your pick of the men, at least until you find the right one. but miss valeria wanted to dance and mamma was Very Mad about that 'cos it's Not Appropriate. i dont understand that becos shes marrying Alessio so wouldent he rather watch her than some girl the boys just found somewhere, but Ladies arent allowed to so i guess Id rather not be one. but mario wants me to, its important.

i want to take Dory out to the Forest and help her find Kittens. but tomorrow there is lots of work and Pretty Dresses. the basque girl with mr riddle says she had a dress just like mine once but she got it all muddy doing a Labour. Mamma said i better not even think about that but i don't understand why she would. maybe she has Pretty Dresses all the time like isabella?

people are so Stupid Sometimes. I am glad that Dory and I can Talk again and that we are Sisters now cos really her old family must not have loved her enough or they wouldn't have done Terrible Things. so you would think there is going to be no more fighting.

the boy called Bilius (i don't know what last name to put, he is supposed to be lovegood but he insists he is still Weassely) is not going to accept that his pappa did Bad Things but no-one is angrey with his mamma. he says that he is still Weasselly when the teachers and the Diggorys arent around although Hamish Hears More Than He Thinks He Does and so do i. and he says he is going to do bad things to lucius if his pappa dies, which is realy Bad becos, of course, his pappa is a criminal so.

and fia and mira are fighting a lot. mira got fia in Troubel about that fight she was going to have with jack Oldman, she was saying that it was a duel (i tried to tell her it wasent, you cant have a duel with someone who doesent know Magick much) and we should all watch. i cant Believe that mira doesent understand about what not to tell Grownups.

Dory is on the train but I cant Talk to her. I saw her with a girl who has red hair. Aelia wont let me out of her site cos she doesent believe I wont Talk to them. but Jenny and Mira are here and we all have Kittens, so that is okay, and I would not be Writting but they are talking to Dory and Kat (red hair, redder than fias but she is Not There) and I cant and I promised Aelia to not Cry on the train. jenny is not supposed to either but maybe she isnt cos I think she is actually talking to Dalton who is talking to them. its very confusing.

fia was here. she has sure Changed a lot. I saw her Talk to Dory but she dident Say very much just hi and then ran off with snobby lavvy p that she has always Crushed on (thats what Dalton says, I dont know what it means because it doesent make any sense, fia already knows she is going to Like Boys). I dont know why she is Allowed and Im not, it doesent seem Fair. she has a lot of snobby friends now. Theres Cori and lavvy p and Mercuria and Jonathan and dorian who is black like melina and camille. she said hi to me and she said hi to Jenny but she laughed when jenny was talking about grecian love and jonathan who sucks up to lucius laughed really hard. (dalton who is Very Mean taught me the word 'sucking up' its what people do around lucius and fia and Cori a lot, except fia sucks up to lavvy p.)

I will never Procrastinate again.

I kept meaning and meaning to Answer the Letter from Dory, who is my Bestest friend. but i am not allowed to Write her any more. because of what her Parents Did, and we are in Service to Lady Malfoy.

i dont think that this is Quite Fair

but its my fault because there was so much to do with the Kittens and the sewing and so many things to Help People with

I havent written for a long time. I am always too Busy to write stuffs down these days. there is a lot of Work to be done but I dont mind that because I can be with people and help them do things.

We are moving away to the country. A lot of people with childeren are doing that or sometimes they send their childeren away but I do not want to Leave mamma and so we did not go away. The worst of the bombing was last Year I still remember when one of them got through the Wards and it hit a house on Grim Old Place which is where fias mamma and a lot of snooty rich people live and they do not like it that people like me and Dory can come through the back sides of houses.

I am sad because Dory and Fia are not going to move. Fias pappa moved in with her and her mamma and he is the Magister Kyteller!!! it was a big surprise, but dimity said that all of the grownups knew. after that Dimity and her nonna came to live with us because Dimitys Nonna fights with the Magister K (that is too hard to spell) all the time. also dimity keeps crying a lot and says It Will Be Dreadful. she says there is Nothing To Do which has quite got me scared. When I am bad they make me sit still in the corner and not move. because I hate being Bored more than anything.

Don Ercole says we are moving and that is the end of it. I am very glad he is out of the prison and the Fascists are dead. Fia says her pappa Got them and his friends. she calls him that now.

Fia had a big party for her birthday and there was lots of food. The Magister Kyteler came. I dont understand who he is but I know he is very Important. I asked him if he couldent stop the War and he said he wished he could. Fia loves him so that made her happy. I think she loves him and mr Saunders most of everyone except for her mamma.

There has been lots of fighting at fia's house so she has been here a lot and mamma sent us over to Donna Bastianas to play with the Babies. except Fiorella is not really a Baby any more because she is four. Rosalia is two. the Babies are cuter than anything.

Fia went to go see Bambi again, but Aelia dident go with her and they dident ask me, which is okay because I dont want to cry again. I think it is very Sad.

Melina bought me a dolly. I dont know how she knew I wanted it. I know I looked at it a lot but I dident tell anyone that I wanted it. mamma fussed at her and said the dolly is too expensive and costed more than our food for a week and all I can do is look at her. she isnt the kind of dolly you can really Play With, but she has a pretty dress, like fia's mamma wears when she has her Parties that were not supposed to talk about, except the neck is higher. also if you say the right words, she dances.

I think I should take her to school with me but mamma says someone might steal her. but someone could steal her here too couldent they? maybe Mario will put Wards on her so nobody can.

I got my hogwarts letter! Fiammetta and Aelia got one too.

Signora Ducas said Mario will take all of us shopping today. we have to be good girls...but I'm always a good girl, its Fia who gets into troubel. You can't argue with her, she just goes right ahead, and if you dont follow on you can get left Behind. Melina said we are going to be in different houses and that will straighten it out

I don't know if I like that idea, because if I'm in a different House I wont know anyone...fia is awfully Bossy but she means well and Aelia cant speak english very well yet.

I guess I am glad we are going with mario cause I always feel Safe with him but I wish Melina would come but she has to Sleep In because she worked last night...but I don't think she is going to sleep in cause she's here, and she's smiling alot, and she looks really tired but she doesent look like she wants to go home yet, she changed clothes in mothers room...she had a party dress on when she came which was very odd because I thought she was At Work like mamma goes to work sometimes because all of the ladies have to go to work because our pappas went to WAR (except fia's pappa we don't know who he is though mamma says he's Very Important and how can she say that if she doesent know who he is)...

I hate the WAR and I want pappa to come home. Also I dont want to go to work when I am older although my mamma says she likes to work in the potions shop (I like to do Chores with mamma but I like to be with my family)

Fiammetta wants to sneak out of the house and go to the cinema!

She says she thinks it will be fun. We have to wear our old short skirts so that we look like muggles but I don't mind because they don't trip me up like our new ones do. I don't know where she got muggle money, but Aelia says she has a whole box of it. It looks very strange and some of it is paper.

She has been talking to those muggle boys and if her mamma knew she would be in so much trouble. but she said mr saunders is half muggle and so we shoulden't worry about it.
